Incorporated in Jersey, Renewable Energy Generation Ltd is a leading wind power and bio-power group. It was established and listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in May 2005.
The Group’s main business is the development, ownership and operation of wind farms. It also generates power from refined waste cooking oil in the UK. REG operates through two main subsidiary companies:
REG Windpower Limited: based in Cornwall, UK, it currently operates ten wind projects in Cornwall, County Durham, Cumbria, Cambridgeshire, Yorkshire and Gwynedd, with a total capacity of 41.15MW and has a development pipeline of around 1000MW.
REG Bio-Power UK Ltd: based in Nottingham, UK, it operates electricity generation plant fuelled by refined waste cooking oil.
